Jean-Claude Driant dedicates most of his research and teaching to the socio-economics of housing, national and local housing policies, the social rental stock and the functioning of real estate markets. He regularly works in cooperation with State services, local authorities and various housing actors and is the author of books and articles on housing in France. His current and future work focuses on the links between the functioning of local housing markets and the implementation of territorial policies involving housing.
